First Contact Defence Training Limited is a company that provides a number of services with up to date training for clients that demand realistic and professional instruction, particularly in the Security Industry. With fully qualified Instructors that provide you with the necessary training to the required standard of the S.I.A legislation and relevant government bodies.
We are primarily a mobile organisation that travel to your premises to provide training for minimum disruption to your working timetable, however we can be flexible and provide a training room in your local area and conduct courses from there with an additional fee or with the option of travelling to a training hall here in Ayrshire.
Background
Although the company is new to the area, clients can have the assurance in the knowledge that the training that they will receive will be coming from the best. The Director Neil Johnson draws on the experience of a highly successful 10 year service in Her Majesty’s Forces, His experience includes being employed as a Personal Safety and Public Order Instructor for the Army. The techniques that will be taught have been tried and tested by him in high pressure environments such as Iraq and the Former Yugoslavia and during his service as a Regimental Policeman working in a custodial facility.
One of the key beliefs of this organisation is that in order to get full benefit, the training provided has to be as close to real life situations as possible, it has to drive you towards using lessons learned in the course as if it were second nature, learning lessons about yourself the individual, about how you react when put in a controlled pressure environment.
All courses are professionally presented and carried out to an equally high standard, with approachable and friendly tutor/trainers who will guide you through your chosen service.
